How to Use an Eyebrow Dye Kit

For any dye kit, follow their instructions on how to use their product.  As a general guideline, this is what it will be like.

First protect the eyes
You can use petroleum jelly or vaseline to protect the skin around the eyebrows.  Make sure to not get it on the skin or the dye/tint will not work.  Using a petroleum jelly roller makes this step easy.

You can use eye protectors as well.  They are placed under the eyelashes and petroleum jelly is usually used to keep them stable.

Create the mixture
Follow the instructions on your dye/tint.  The kit should come with a mixing tray or cup.  Stir the mixture as specified.  It should be glumpy when it is ready so it won't drip or run.

Apply the dye
Use the applicator included in your kit to apply the eyebrow dye onto the hair without getting it on the skin.  Cover all areas of one eyebrow and then do the other eyebrow next.

Remove the excess dye
After it has stayed on enough to darken the hair, wipe off the dye with a cotton pad.  You don't want to leave it on too long because the dye works pretty fast.  You can wash the eyebrows with soap and water as well.
